The Log (The newsletter for Branch 24 of FRA) is sent both via email and snailmail. For more information on why it is better to recieve it via the former, please read "The Log has gone Digital" at the bottom of this page. As the newsletter is sent monthy, the new newsletter is put on this page

To view past Logs, please refer to the sidebar. Issues of The Log that have been kept on file electronically are kept there in a chronological list.

01 January New Years Day– FRC Closed

02 January The FRC reopens at 1700

03 January Branch 24 BOD meeting 1900

10 January Branch 24 regular meeting 1900 at the FRC. Light refreshments are served after the meeting.

15/16 January MLK Jr.’s Birthday/Observance

11 January New Members Orientation Meeting at 1900 held at the FRC

28 January Central Liaison Committee meeting hosted by Branch/Unit 24 held at the FRC at 1400. Refreshments will be served after the meeting.

The Log has gone Digital

To the Shipmates and Ladies still recieving Snail Mail,

We have made zero progress with reducing the numbers of printed logs that are being mailed out. If you have an email address listed in FRA National database we will send you The Log via email. We will continue to investigate methods to reduce the cost of printed copy and mailing of The Log.

The Branch simply cannot spend close to 15K a year to print and mail the newsletter to over 2100 Shipmates. If you do not have a computer, we will continue to provide. Some have added the email of their children or grandchildren so they could get The Log and provide a copy.
